INTRODUCTION – WHY ESTELLISE?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You must be asking: Why I would choose Estellise if Yuri, Repede and Judith
are more fast and have more combos? Well, it´s true that Estellise is a bit
slow and doesn't have "super" combos, but she has strong light magics,
EXCELLENT heal magics, a HIGH HP and strenght if compared to another healers
characters. She has nice combos too, what is not very common in healer/magic
types characters. If you are a Estellise's fan, I hope that FAQ help you out
discover her true strenght! Good luck!

Estellise is the princess of Zaphia's Castle and one of the candidates for
the throne. She grown up inside the castle and never went out until she met
Yuri when he had escaped the castle's prision. Then, she asks his help to find
Flynn and the adventure begins. Estelle (her nickname given by Yuri) is a
naive and gentle lady, but she's very smart, and trough the game, she grown
up in mind and strenght, knowing more about the world where she lives and
about herself. I´m not going tell what are the surprises that you'll find
with Estelle, but have sure they are really BIG!!! Discover for yourself!

2. SYSTEM (SYS)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First, I´ll explain how the fighting system works. I´m not going explain
all
points, only the basic. For more information about the system, please search
another FAQs.
Default Configuration (during battles):
Left Analogic: Move
Right analogic: Shortcuts
Direcional Pad: Over limit
A: Artes/Spells
B: Normal Attack
X: Defense
Y: Menu
RB: Change Target
LT: Move in 3D
RT: Fatal Strike
NORMAL ATTACKS
Are the attacks done pressing the B button or the B button+ any direction .
They don´t use TP and can be cancelled in any artes.
BASE AND ARCANE ARTES
Are the melee attacks done pressing the A button, or the A button+ any
direction (assigneds via menu>artes). Base are more simple artes that can
be cancelled in arcane artes.
ALTERED ARTES
When you equip certains skills, some artes change. Using these altered
artes a certain number of times (base and arcane: 100 times, and spells:
50 times) the character learn this altered arte, and it can be assigned
like normal artes in menu, don´t being more necessary to have the skills
equiped to do them.
BURST ARTE
After the first visit to Heliord, your characters´ll learn their respectives
Burst Artes, that must be done during any level of Over Limit, doing a
Arcane Arte and keeping pressed the A button.
FATAL STRIKES
In the first dungeon of the second continent, you"ll lear this feature.
When you press RB and target a enemy, 3 bars are shown: red, green and blue.
Each attack, arte or spell hit on enemy makes these bar fill up. The color
depend how arte or spell you use. When one color bar fills up, a arrow
symbol appear upon the enemy. In this instant hit the RT button, and a Fa-
tal Strike´ll be done. On normal enemies it´s instantaneous death, but on
bosses it´ll only cause a great damage.
MYSTIC ARTE
The most advanced Arte in the game, they are learned trough the "Special"
skill. To do it, first learn the Special Skill or have the weapon with it
equipped and do a Arcane or Burst Arte and keep the button B pressed
during Over Limit level 3 or 4.

3.NORMAL ATTACKS, BASE, ARCANE, SPELLS AND ALTERED ARTES/SPELLS (NBAS)

3.1.
----------------------
Estellise has only two hits on her normal attacks, but this number can be
turned to three with the skill "Add combo".
*B in neutral position - First attacK
Estelle do a simple attack with her sword, doing a up-down moviment.
*B in neutral position - Second attack
Estelle do a simple attack with her sword, doing a straight moviment.
*B in neutral position - Third attack
Much alike the first attack.
*Up+ B - First or Second Attack
She does a simple attack with her sword doing a down-up moviment
*Up+ B - Third Attack
Estelle rises of the ground with her sword, like a "Shoryuken". Note that
she actually really jump in this movement, thus, the only arte that can
be followed by this is the Air Divide (after 100 uses, when it get usable
in mid air).
*Down+ B - First Attack
She aim her sword down, doing a low attack. Most of the times knock down
the enemy.
*Down+ B - Second Attack
Like the first down attack, but rarely knock down the enemy.
*Down+ B - Third Attack
Like first attack, most of the times knock down the enemy.
*Foward+ B - First, Second or Third attack
Estellise do a ranged straight attack with her sword. Most of the times
this move put your enemy aside.
*Back+ B - First Attack only
Estellise do a slow, but strong attack with her sword, putting your enemy aside.
While running in 3D (LT button pressed) B button
She do a attack using her shield, putting her enemy away.

POW HAMMER
Learned: Level 9
1 hit  -  FS: Red  -  Element: Light  -  TP: 4
Range: Above enemy.
Description: Like all other main heroines of Tales' series, Estelle has this
move too. A magic hammer appears above enemy's head.
About: Chance of causing stun icreases with usage, up to 100% at 9999 uses.
Use when: Well, it´s a weak move, unless you use it 9999 times...Use it in
the beginning of the game while she hasn't other better moves.
STAR STROKE
Learned: Level 11
1 hit  -  FS: Green  -  TP: 5
Range: All screen.
Description: For who already know the Tales' serie moves, this attack is
like Demon Fang (or Majinken in Japanese version). Estelle do a movement
with her sword and a small energy travel the ground.
About: Becomes faster after 100, 200 and 400 uses.
Use when: It´s her first decent melle attack, although it doesn't link in
combos. Good to maintain distance.
PIERCE CLUSTER
Learned: Level 15
3 hits  -  FS: Blue  -  TP: 7
Range: Very short.
Description: After a brief moment, Estelle draws her sword, doing a fast
sucession of attacks.
Use when: The enemy's being cornered. Because its short range, it´s the
only way to use this arte efficiently.
CAVALRY
Learned: Level 26
Grants a shield effect for ~10 seconds  -  TP: 18
Range: Herself
Description: Estellise rise up her sword and says the arte's name.
Use when: In bosses battles, specially when you´re using she as a attacker.
DIVIDING EDGE
Learned: Level 35
1 hit  -  FS: Green  -  TP: 12
Range: Medium to large
Description: After a backstep, Estellise runs foward, making a straight move-
ment with her sword.
About: Usable in mid-air after 100 uses.  After 200 uses, it can be executed
faster (without the backstep) by only tapping the Artes button, or with the
old backstep by holding the Artes button.
Use when: Before she gain her best base arte: Marche Waltz. After, forget it.
MARCHE WALTZ
Learned: Level 39
2 hits  -  FS: Red  -  TP: 16
Range: Medium
Description: Doing a movement like a musical maestro, musical notes appear
from Estelle's sword.
About: Downs the enemy. Sometimes hit the fallen enemy.
Use when: Always. This is her best base arte and the only that can be used
in a combo without fear. Follow it with Delight Roll.

DELIGHT ROLL
Learned: Level 22
1-2 hits  -  FS: Blue  -  TP: 22
Range: Short
Description: Like the name suggests, Estelle do a circular movement with her
sword, making appear a light on the ground.
About: Forces downed enemies to stand.  After 200 uses, you can hold the
Attack button to add a 2nd hit; if you start holding Attack early both hits
can down the enemy, while if you start holding it late it retains the forced
stand effect.
Use when: Like Marche Waltz, always. It´s only her reliable Arcane arte and
do a lot of damage.
RAY STING
Learned: Level 51
4 hits  -  FS: Blue  -  Element: Light  -  TP: 10
Range: Short
Description: One more time, other move copied from previous Tales games.
It´s the old move Light Spear. To newbies in Tales series: Estelle do a
straight attack with her sword, and, immediately do another upper attack,
rising the enemy in air.
About: Downs the enemy.
Use when: Unfortunately, this move isn´t good like before. It is slow and
hardly can be used in combos. Forget it.
3.3.
I´ll list the origin of each altered arte and which skill is necessary to
activate them.
AIR DIVIDE
Original Arte: Dividing Edge / Skill: Alembic
2 hits  -  FS: Blue  -  TP: 15
Range: Medium to large
Description: Much alike Dividing Edge, but this time, Estelle continues the
move in air.
About: Usable in mid-air after 100 uses.  After 200 uses, it can be executed
faster (without the backstep) by only tapping the Artes button, or with the
old backstep by holding the Artes button.
Use when: Against aerial enemys. Very useful this way.
3.4.

In spells section I´ll cut down the description in almost all of them,
because in the most part, Estelle only rise up her sword and says the spell
name after casting them. Remember that the spells are divide into 3 classes:
Novice (little time for casting), Intermediate (medium time for casting)
and Advanced (long time for casting)
FIRST AID - Healing
Learned: Starting spell
Heal 25% HP  -  TP: 6
Range: One ally
Use when: Until she gain more effective healing spells.
SHARPNESS - Support
Learned: Level 7
P.ATK boost for one minute  -  TP: 12
Range: One ally
Use when: In bosses battles on your melee characters.
BARRIER - Support
Learned: Level 12
P.DEF boost for one minute  -  TP: 15
Range: One ally
Use when: In bosses battles that the enemy has strong physical power.
RECOVER - Healing
Learned: Level 14
Cure all physical ailments -  TP: 14
Range: One ally
Use when: Whenever one of your characters gets a physical ailment (obvious,
isn´t it?)
RESIST - Support
Learned: Level 17
M.DEF boost for one minute  -  TP: 20
Range: One ally
Use when: In bosses battles that the enemy has strong magic power.
PHOTON - Attack
Learned: Level 19
1 hit  -  FS: Green  -  Element: Light  -  TP: 26
Range: One enemy
Use when: While she don't get her higher attack spells.
ASTION - Support
Learned: This spell is gained trough a sub-event: A little after Estelle
rejoins the group (chapter four) go to the elder's house in Myorzo and
examine the stone slab behind the large table for a event. Afterwards,
speak to a Krityan who will either be in Aspio or Deidon Hold.
M.ATK boost for one minute  -  TP: 16
Range: One ally
Use when: In bosses battles, on Rita.

Range: All allies
Description: Little angels wearing nurse uniform fly over the screen.
Use when: One of her best healling spells. While you don´t gain Night-
tingale, abuse of this spell.
RESSURECTION - Healing
Learned: Level 29
Revive with 30% HP  -  TP: 40
Range: One ally
Use when: You're out of Life Bottles, because 40 TP is much for a item
cheap like this.
DISPEL - Healing
Learned: Level 33
Cure all status ailments -  TP: 38
Range: All allies in a small area
Use when: Most of your part members are with status ailments.
ANGEL RING - Attack
Learned: Level 36
4 hits -  FS: Green  -  Element: Light  -  TP: 32
Range: Enemies in a medium range
Description: A massive light energy gathers enemies to center of the
targeted area.
Use when: While you don´t gain her Holy Rain spell.
HEALING CIRCLE - Healing

Range: All allies in a small area
Use when: Your party members are close each other.

Description: Lances of light attack the enemies.
Use when: Several enemies are gathered in a small area.
FORCE FIELD - Support
Learned: This spell is gained trough a sub-event: Whenever you have the
chance, stop by Halure and go to the Great Tree's area. After three our
four chain-events,when you came back to this area, near the end of the
game, Estelle learn this spell.
Grants 10 seconds of invincibility -  TP: 56
Range: All allies in a small area
Use When: Your party members are close each other.

Use when: In bosses battles, when your party members are close each other.
RESIST FIELD - Support
Original Spell: Resist / Skill: Dispersion

Range: All allies in a medium area
Use when: In bosses battles, when your party members are close each other.
GRAND CHARIOT - Attack
Original Spell: Photon / Skill: Chain

Range: One enemy
Description: A strong version of Photon.
Use when: Against alone enemies with high HP.
REVIVE - Support
Original Spell: Resurrection / Skills: Hell Fire, Athenor, Gale, Great Deluge
Auto-revive status -  TP: 64
Range: One ally
Use when: VERY USEFUL in bosses battles!
REGENERATE - Healing
Original Spell: Resurrection / Skills: Dispersion, Alembic
Raises dead (64% HP) & heals living allies (34% HP) in a medium area - TP: 70
Range: See above
Use when: Two or three characters are dead. Very useful too! To maximize the
potencial of this spell, make sure that Estelle has a high HP equipping
skills like Vitality 1, 2 and 3 and the acessories Black Onyx (+30% HP) or
Alexandrite (+ 25% HP/TP). Don´t forget Estelle's exclusive skills Resist 4
and Defend 4!
NIGHTINGALE - Healing
Original Spell: Nurse / Skill: Crucible
Heals 48% HP  -  TP: 55
Range: All allies
Description: Much alike Nurse.
Use when: Always. In difficult bosses battles, make Estellise user this spell
one after another. So, your party members´ll never die. ^.^
HOLY RAIN - Attack
Original Spell: Holy Lance / Skill: Great Deluge
FS: Red  -  Element: Light  -  TP: 65
Range: All battlefield (random)
Description: A rain of holy lances starts, lasting about 6 or 7 seconds.
Use when: Always. Estelle's best attack spell, works very well too as a combo
starter.

Range: Medium to large
Description: After a brief moment, Estelle draws her sword and do several
attacks with it.
Use when: Whenever you can. it´s a excellent move, with a great range, dea-
ling a GREAT of damage.

STAR SIGN - FLAME
TP:0 - Skills: Chain, Hell Fire
Range: Medium to large
Description: It´s the same movement of Extreme Stars, but with a flame aura
envolving Estelle's sword. As a bonus, in the end of the move, Estelle
casts Sharpness on herself.
Use when: Like Extreme Stars.
STAR SIGN - GEO
TP:0 - Skills: Crucible, Athenor
Range: Medium to large
Description: It´s the same movement of Extreme Stars, but with a lighting
aura envolving Estelle's sword. As a bonus, in the end of the move,
Estelle casts Astion on herself.
Use when: Like Extreme Stars.
STAR SIGN - GALE
TP:0 - Skills: Alembic, Gale
Range: Medium to large
Description: It´s the same movement of Extreme Stars, but with a wind aura
envolving Estelle's sword. As a bonus, in the end of the move, Estelle
casts Barrier on herself.
Use when: Like Extreme Stars.
STAR SIGN - AQUA
TP:0 - Skills: Dispersion, Flood
Range: Medium to large
Description: It´s the same movement of Extreme Stars, but with a water aura
envolving Estelle's sword. As a bonus, in the end of the move, Estelle
casts Resist on herself.
Use when: Like Extreme Stars.
3.10.

Like said before, to activate the Mystic Arte, you must learn the Special
skill. The Estelle's weapon that has this skill is Rod, which is located
in a chest behind a Giganto Monster in Zaude.
SACRED PENANCE
TP:O
Range: All enemies and allies
Description: Estellise rises up in air, praying. In the screen appears a
image   like a church's window and after the face of Estelle appears, a
giant Cross punish all enemies, causing a VERY BIG damage, while Estelle
heal ALL HP of ALL her friends.
Use when: One of the best Mystic Artes of the game, because it cause MUCH
damage like the others Mystic Artes and even heal ALL HP of ALL your party
members. Use whenever you can!!!
3.11.

It´s a secret move, only possible with the weapon Cat Teaser equipped. To
do this, activate any level of Over Limit then hold Artes+Attack button.
While you keep the buttons pressed, Estelle'll continue the move. You can
move with the left analog up and down to hit the enemy.

- ENCHANTING BELLE - COSTUME
During your second visit to Heliord, you will be asked to pick Estelle,
Karol or Judith to seduce the guard near the lift.  After Zaude, return
to Heliord and speak to the merchant in the Inn to get the title
automatically for the character you chose.  For the other two, bring
him 2 Spirit Fragments, 1 Cheagle Fur, and 3 Cockatrice Claws for each
other costume.
- SEEKER OF THE TRUTH
Obtained after Estelle continues with the party after being attacked by
Pharoeh.
- DETERMINED PRINCESS
Obtained after Zaude rises from the ocean.
- GRACIOUS WAITRESS - COSTUME
Complete all 3 levels of the waiter mini-game in Dahngrest's tavern
with Estelle.  This mini-game starts by going to tavern "Sagittarius"
(the western tavern in the city) and talking to the woman in the middle
behind the counter.  Each level adds progressively more people and food
choices.  You do not need to complete each order perfectly to get the
title, but isn´t a bad idea get a pen and a paper for note while you pause
the game...
- DEDICATED PARAMEDIC - COSTUME
Speak to the doctor inside the Inn at Aurnion after it has been
partially (or fully) rebuilt to get a scene about Estelle's healing
artes.  Come back a short time later for another scene involving the
doctor and his patients.  Come back a short time later for a scene with
a man standing outside the Inn who needs medical treatment.  Finally,
return a short time later to see a scene as you approach the Inn where
Estelle will be given the title.  You must have healed 4.000.000 total
