If your shhoting for achievements on that Ninja 5 ranking and having trouble, then there is a MUCH easier way to do it. It takes time though, so be patient. You have to study each level thoughorly, and look at each path, and see where all the enemies are, and when to kill each one. So go through each level atleast 10 times, or however many times you need to. Its much easier than much people make it seem, but it takes time. So there you go.

Complete each achievement to get the allotted gamerscore.

The control inputs on the skill menus always assume that the default controls are being used. Also, for the Parry Skill, it must be used when the sword is sheathed (not drawn).

To quickly beat the bosses, find some way to push them into water. In Mission 17, get back onto the pier or the gangplank, and knock the boss over the edges. In Mission 50, go back outside toward the moat, wait for the bosses to catch up, and then knock them over the edges again.

Roll along the ground (by holding the crouch button and then pressing the jump button) to move quickly without making any noise.

There are two sets of secret clothing. For the first set, finish Mission 50. For the second set, kill all the Tomokichi in all the missions, on any difficulty setting.

The Tomokichi are the swordsmen who wear the very wide straw hats, and they always drop an item when they are beaten. There is only one Tomokichi in every mission. Kill all 50 Tomokichi in all 50 missions, on any difficulty setting, to gain the second set of secret clothing (and, in the process, earn the secret X360 achievements for this game).

Score at least 900 points to earn the top rating (Ninja 5) in a mission. The easiest way to do this is to try to avoid being detected and to keep performing stealth kills, which are each worth 100 points (or 120 points if they are done when the stealth kill icon is deep red). Not using any items (except the grappling hook) and not taking any damage will also result in bonus points that will add to the total score.

Complete each achievement to get the allotted gamerscore.

By pressing a direction on the D-pad after you complete a mission but before the "Mission Complete" message pops up on the screen, you will do an alternate pose. There are 4 alternate poses, one for up, down, left, and right.
