If you are under level 10 you cant find Mountain Lions at all, you'll just have to buy the
Lion Pelt, your best chances of buying some are at the Mages Guild. If you are level 10
and up, your best chances are to find one on the roads instead of the wilderness, they
appear more there. Good luck because they are tough.

if u still need to find lion pelt go to the knights of the thorn or w/e its called and
sneak around and in some of the chest u will find lion pelt

The Knights of the thorn's master is the counts son you can find them in i think chorrol
or cheydinhal they are just a bunch of amature town guards

on one of the first fighters guild missions you are asked to go to this womans house and
find out why her pet rats keep dying, when u go down into the basement u find that it is a
lion kill it then get the pelt and later on u hav 2 go and kill a pack ov them, so plenty
ov lion peltz!

you can get it after a fight in the arena (at right level) or heldp the fighters giuld and
you will get mission

they appear in mountains and on farms randomly

try going to any map edge, way to the north east, north, north west, or west.
big mountains to climb, i was lvl 35 and altho i had to scale a really large area to find
a mountain lion.
you´ll mostly encounter big bears in those mountains, but fear not, mountain lions are
amongst them!

The merchants used to sell lion pelts but they seem to have been replaced by bear pelts

who cares about gold. You wont even need it. Anyway you can usually find a loin pelt on
the way to anvil from kavatch hope it helps

I spent half an hour looking for one of these. No shops had them and i went to so many
sites. I must thank you whoever said to go from Anvil to kvatch as the mi***e I fast
travalled there i started running and encountered one. :D thanks man

It's usually found near roads and in the mountains. It's pretty hard to find it in the
woods. Some merchants sell it, its usually misc merchants.
Or if you're tired of looking on it and u have oblivion on the pc. Just type:
Player.additem 000228E4 X (Amount of number instead of X) In the console. The console is
usually the button under [esc] and to the left of [1]. On my keyboard its §. On other its
usually ~ or ½

I was able to find a some lion's by traveling to Cloud Top and wandering around. Took
about three mi***es to encounter one at level 28.

in tide water cave their is one lion, it's located at the bottom of blackwood

You can normally run into aa few, anywhere east of anvil :-D

all you guys keep saying i cant find one.. if you stay on the game long enough you will
always find one. if you have been looking for days and still have not found any, then
either you already killed them all, or you need to look better. simply put

If you still need to find lions pelt, you can look in Unmarked Cave, SothWest of Bleakers

Just tried the road between Anvil and Kvatch, it worked within 2 minutes, I found the
required lion pelt and this this happened with a level 31 character. x

who ever said it was in the unmarked cave is the best thats the only thing that worked for
me but the rest was good too though( the other awnsers were good) i didnt like the people
writing pointless stuff though

either the fighters guild or mages guild has some in a case in guild hall also anvil
castle has some in a display case i think
