Walkthrough - FAQ/WalkthroughTwo Worlds FAQ ****************************************************************************** This is a joint effort by Iain Noble and Rich Bispham plus other members of the Gamefaqs community (see relevant sections for credits.) Contents Introduction Achievements Main Quest Guide Side Quests Trainers Items & Equipment Magic & Spells Alchemy Cheats *** Coming Soon *** This guide is to get vaguely competent players through the main quest with ease. In future versions we will be: detailing much more about the game, including each and every side quest, plus how they all interact with each other; explaining fully each faction you can gain reputation with and what this does for you; a guide to weapons and armour; a guide to alchemy; a guide to achievments; and anything else people want! Email us if you have any questions, requests or advice / help. Just put TW as the subject! This guide is for gamefaqs.com only. *** Introduction *** Two Worlds has had a 'mixed' reception from reviewers and gamers. It is not the intention of this guide to become involved in flame wars about the quality of the game. Suffice it to say that a number of 'bugs' exist and it is hoped that a patch that has been announced will fix some of them. One MAJOR bug is that if you kill or attack or steal in a city, ALL the inhabitants will become hostile from then on and will continue to attack you each time you return. An 'attack' can be as minor as running into somebody on your horse. So be warned and SAVE OFTEN! There is a short Wiki site for the game here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Worlds It has a good description of the various factions you will encounter in the game. There is an excellent strategy guide posted on various forums, for example http://forums.xbox.com/13991522/ShowPost.aspx or http://board.zuxxez.com/showthread.php?t=28104 Also checkout the guides posted here http://twoworldsvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.List *** Achievements *** You can find a list here http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/code/932336.html Please note that the all locations achievement cannot be gained at present due to a bug in the game. *** Main Quest Guide *** This main quest guide assumes you know the basic of playing and how to use your map and quest log effectively. This guide follows purely the main quests listed under Tainted Blood in your quest log, but will indicate where you need side quest completion to advance. I will not re tell the story in this either, so watch and listen as you play. *** Quest Area: Tainted Blood *** --- The Beginning --- Ok you have watched the cutscene and you have landed at the entrance of the Throglin Temple. Follow the rather simple instructions, and then get out of there. Tago outside will inform you of the stranger, Gandohar, who awaits you South of the village of Komorin. Head south, through Komorin, and you will happen across Gandohar outside a small dwelling. He informs you to meet with Reist in Goat’s Cave. You can find the location using your quest log, but you will probably find it shows you an underground map. Press X to find the above ground entrance. Just east of Gandohar is Ferid Redismos. I advise doing his quest thread that falls under the Quest Area : Komorin heading before proceeding. This will result in you having 3 teleport stones which prove very handy as you progress. When you enter the Goat’s Cave, you meet Reist and get a little more out of him. You disagree with him and both part ways. Locate Gandohar at a campfire just outside of the cave. He will tell you of a place you can contact your sister. Your map will lead you to Thalmont Node. Enter the obelisk circle to communicate with your sister. You receive a bit more story, and then you will head back and check in with Gandohar again. Re enter the cave, and this time you agree to do as Reist requests. Talk to Gandohar one more time, and he explains the Relic business. So, you have to now collect 5 pieces of this relic. I will list the locations of each below in a summary for quick reference. Relic Frame: Clan Karga Treasury Earth Element: King Satrius’ Tomb Air Element: White Dragon’s Nest Fire Element: Gor Gammar Water Element: Ashos Temple None are as simple as walking in and getting them. Most you require to do various side quests first. Let’s start with the frame. --- Relic Frame --- You can either side with Karga or Skelden to get this, and there are different ways within each faction also. To pursue either, you will need some reputation with that faction. Get this from many different side quests featuring these two groups. Ultar Karga in the northern Karga area will want you to basically discredit Skelden, and his son wants Skelden dead. Both accomplish the same thing in the end: access to the treasury as a reward. Skelden will want you to locate the Karga and assist him in wiping them out. This too leads you to getting the treasury accessed. All the related quests and how they work together will be detailed in a later version of ths guide, but you really should have no problem completing this part one way or another. When you can grab the Relic Frame, great! It is time to hunt the four Elements. Areas now will get a little tougher, so if you need to level up, do a few side quests and find yourself some better trade tools to do some serious damage with. --- Earth Element --- Let us tackle the Earth Element first. Windbreak village is where to begin. On the way, make sure to visit Ho to log the location of the other stones. He is marked on your map. You could also visit with your sister a second time now at the next node, also marked on your map. Ok, to Windbreak. Two possible paths to obtain the Earth Element from the barrow of Satrius. Approach Mayor Gordar or Captain Ran Hograd. Again, detail of their quests will appear in a future version. I would suggest doing the few simple quests for the mayor who, when fully trusting you, will ask you to get the crown of Satrius for him. Armed with the key to the barrows from the Mayor, head west to the location marked. The Earth Element is in plain sight, glowing pleasantly before you shortly after entering. Note how the crown you retrieve for the mayor is a fake. Tough luck for him! You could have also gone through the Captain and Whitehead the Orc’s little slew of quests and entered the barrow from a tunnel dug by Whitehead’s Orcs, and achieved the same result. --- Water Element --- Onwards to Ashos now for the Water Element. Ashos is on the far west island by the Bamboo Forest. The guard at the entrance starts the thread of quests that leads to the Water Element. Be warned, the moment you take the Water Element, or Yatholen’s Eye as the people here call it, the town is no longer protected by the mighty Sea God Yatholen. When you come out, prepare to battle the Orcs who have just slaughtered the townfolk. Anyway, I digress, The guard leads you to Hoko. Hoko points you to the blacksmith, Uchinao. He wants you to kill his sister in return for the temple key. This is pretty risk free as she is in a house so no one will see personally I took him down, stole his key and paid the fine. The alternate way in is to start with the guard Hajime Masaware and follow the magic dust quests but this is longer and more difficult. Feel free to do it that way! So enter the temple via the side door you now have a key for. Follow the temple round, and grab the Water Element. Just remember to have done all you wish to do in Ashos prior to grabbing it! --- Air Element --- People get a bit confused with getting this one it seems, and tend to expect a White Dragon fight. You can in fact fight a White Dragon, the one mentioned in this segement of quests, but that will be detailed in the forthcoming version with side quests. You can do this one very easy way. Head northeast from Fireclaw tower into the burnt woods, and explore the area. You will find the White Dragon Nest, and the Air Element is all aglow in the centre. However, I would advise entering the Drak’ar Desert from it’s northern path and following the quest threads to it properly. The town of Xanthos in the eastern desert will set you on the Dragon Whisperer quests that will also lead you to the stone. Either way, you are almost there now. --- Fire Element --- Again, pretty simple way to get this one. Storm Gor Gammar and grab it from the altar. Various ways can make this easier. You can get some Orc Armour that disguises you from doing a couple of easy quests in Cathalon. You can do a few other side quests that lead you to unleashing an undead army in there as well, for some serious amounts of Ghoul Brain for your alchemy pot. There is also a small dungeon to sneak inside the walls through. The choice is yours. You need to be moderately levelled up around here, as you can face vast numbers of enemies at once, not to mention a few Lava Dragons! All done? Make sure you have visited with Kira all three times at the nodes on your tavels. Check your map for details! Endgame approaches. --- Qudinar & The Black Towers --- Back to Gandohar who is just north of Qudinar now. Long cutscene ensues which reveals the plot twists you may or may not have guessed at, and leads you to a whole heap of new trouble. Look at the sky. You need to sort that huge glowing Pentagram out, pronto. You have to defeat a single guy at the top of any Black Tower to take down the Pentagram. I suggest doing them all. That way you can take their nice swords and stack them. One or all, the Pentagram falls. This removes the protective shield around Oswaroth. Time for a bit of righteous vengeance on your foes. --- Oswaroth --- You cant fail to spot the Pentagram shaped Oswaroth upon your map. Head there, and fight through the minions of darkness to the main gates, but do NOT approach Reist yet. SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. This is the last best place to save before completing the game. After you complete, unlike some games you CAN NOT continue playing. So, if you want to carry on in the world with this character and still have the option to complete it, save here and keep this save. Ok, deal with Reist. He turns into a big demon which can take some time to beat if you arent too powerfully levelled up, but really poses little threat if you have even worked out the function of the B button. Time for Gandohar. Much talking, and he may or may not convince you of the merit of his plans. Time to make a choice. Side with him, and Balor and his Paladins arrive, furious at your betrayal. Slaughter them all, and awaken Aziraal for the Dark Ending. Throw his offer in his face, and fight Gandohar. Leave him facedown and loot him for the Light Ending. Congratulations! You completed the Tainted Blood quest line of Two Worlds, and hopefully had as much fun with doing so as we did! *** Side Quests *** I have arranged the side quests by location in roughly the order you should come across them in your travels. On the whole it is advisable to have 1 active quest at a time, otherwise it makes the quest log and map a little harder to interpret. When you open a quest in the log the map will show you the location where you need to be. If you have problems finding the various locations on the map, or locating the quest givers in towns, there are useful maps in the guide to be found here http://guides.gamepressure.com/twoworlds/ The chat icon for quest participants will be in the form of a green square although initially some NPC's will approach you automatically. Please note that you will need to raise your levels in order to get to the locations of these quests. A general rule is that enemies get stronger the further south you go on the map. This side quest guide does not include the locations of bandit camps, caves, and other locations that you may come across if you go 'cross country.' Most important locations are found along the roads or at the end of paths. Completing quests for the members of the different factions will raise your reputation with that faction (in some cases it will lower your reputation with a competing faction.) Some quests will only be offered if your character has a sufficiently high reputation with a particular faction. You can find some background information on the different factions here: http://twoworldsvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=21 Kormorin -------- * Troubled horse breeder * Talk to: Lucius Darx He asks you to talk to Vesit Delurna who breeds horses. * Extortion * Talk to: Vesit Delurna You need to get rid of some bandits located to the west of Kormorin. You should see the location on your map. After you have defeated them go back to Vesit for your reward and your first horse. * An Old Friend/By All Means * Talk to: Ferid Redismos He will give you a teleport activation device (DO NOT LOSE IT!) and ask you to activate another teleport to the east (a good way east) of Kormorin. Once you have done this you can use it to get back to Kormorin. From now on you can activate and use any teleport you find in the game. * Personal Teleport * Talk to: Ferid Redismos If you can bring him 2 pieces of magnesite, he can create a teleport stone which will function as your own personal teleport. You can find magnesite in grom camps to the west of Kormorin. * Another Personal Teleport * Talk to: Ferid Redismos Bring him more magnesite and he will create 2 more stones for you. After that he won't talk to you any more and his role in the game is over. * Moon Eye/Edwin From Brumhill * Talk to: Veran Korstill/Nalax Conga Do this at the same time as the quest from Nalax Conga. Make your way east all the way to Brumhill village. For the first quest you will need to search for a crystal on the ground, for the second it completes as soon as you enter the village. This concludes the quests for Kormorin. Northern Border --------------- * The Hangman's Rope * Talk to: Basil Tyral (he lives in a cottage north of the road running east from Kormorin) Basil is a necromancer who needs a rope that has been used to hang someone. Go to Gallows Hill (check your map) and pick up the rope lying on the ground. * Black Magic * Talk to: Basil Tyral Take some dolls to the cave marked on your map. Watch the unfortunate effect on the occupants. * More Rope * Talk to: Basil Tyral He needs more rope. Wait a short time after accepting the quest and you will get an update. Return to Basil's cottage and you will meed a guard. If you admit to searching for the rope he will attack you. Otherwise he will let you go on your way. * The Lost Patrol * Talk to: Holi He wants you locate his brother in Orna mine. Once you get there, you will encounter some dwarves and find the lost partol further inside the mine. Take the Orna Mine Quest as well before you set out. * The Orna Mine * Talk to: Alfron Dekar Your mission is to kill the leader of the dwarves in the mine. You may need to level up before you can complete this quest. Dwarves may be small but they are pretty tough! * Forgotten Lore * Talk to: Elmeir Tanenn He gives you a key to open the gates at the back of the temple where you started the game. Jump on the altar there to get some skill points. Some ghosts need destroying (putting spirit damage on your weapon helps here, as it does against all undead enemies.) Outpost ------- * A Paid Murder * Talk to: Tidar Shog ( he has a camp just outside the outpost.) He wants you to kill the commander of the Outpost. You need to do the next quest to learn of his location. When you find him at the Rusty Ogre he will offer to pay you extra to double cross Tidar. Your choice. * Check Up On Guard's Brother * Talk to: Eskel Olbrot Eskel wants you to check up on his brother at the siege location further up the road. Along the way you will learn that his brother is probably dead. Once you get to the siege location check around the dragon skeletons to find a dragon scale (required in a later quest.) Inside the dungeon you confirm that the brother is dead and that the commander of the siege fled to the Rusty Ogre Inn. Covengor -------- * A Dangerous Rebel * Talk to: Berud He wants you to find and kill a Karga Clan member called Conn Krannach (the conflict between Clan Skelden and Clan Karga is one of several in the game.) See the quest * Lone Woodsmen Shack * for his location. Conn will also give you a quest. If you want to play both sides, do Conn's quest, kill him and then report back to Berud. * Alcohol Trail * Talk to: Dras Beclem A bandit is stealing his booze. Find the bandit to the south of the village. Convince him to stop and you will get a free bottle. You can buy booze from Dras which can be used in a later quest. * Follow The Thief * Talk to: Ash Lorus (outside a cave to the south of the village) A thief stole his ring. Enter the cave, kill the skeletons and find the thief. He wants you to kill all the skeletons. Do so and he will give you the ring plus he will mark a necromancer's hut on your map. * Bring Me Some Taint * Talk to: Orm Varagor (you need to complete the * Follow The Thief * quest for him to appear) His cottage is to the north of the village. He needs taint shoots. You can find them in the graveyards around the map (there is one close to the cottage.) As you bring him more taint he will give you necromancy spells. Here is a list of all the graveyards in the game, courtesy of Gamefaqs members. 1. Graveyard of Covengor: a tad bit northwest from the city of Covengor. 2. The Old Graveyard of Covengor: this one is just a tad bit west of the first graveyard mentioned. 3. Ruined Graveyard: this one is right next to the "Devil's Chamber" teleporter which is a bit southeast from the Brotherhood Outpost. 4. Ho's Graveyard: pretty self-explanatory on this one. Right next to Ho's hut. 5. Tharguls Graveyard: this one is out in the middle of nowhere, so it can be missed easily. Just go to the Windbreak teleporter and head west. You will find Thargul, and from there go a bit north if you can't see it already. 6. Graveyard of Windbreak: once again this one is pretty self-explanatory, just go a bit south from the Windbreak teleporter. 7. Servants' Graveyard: this one can be found real close to the King's Tomb that you visit in the main story. 8. Thieves' Graveyard: take the road south out of Qudinaar and the road will break off into a side road that will take you right to the graveyard. 9. Orc Graveyard: south of Cathalon you'll find the "Fist Rock teleport." Take it, then head directly south. You will find the graveyard. 10. Skull Graveyard: head back the the "Fist Rock teleport" and head a bit north this time. This one is really close to the teleporter. 11. Old Graveyard: the last graveyard, and is a bit harder to find. This one can be found in the area of "Gandohars' Castle." Head there, and go as far north as you can without crossing the river. You'll find a beach, and if you went straight north from the tip of the castle, then then you'll be a little east of the graveyard. So head west along the beach, and continually look a little inland, because it's not exactly visible from the beach. Gorellin Village ---------------- * Haunted Ruins * Talk to: Jar (he is a guard outside the house of the 'Enlightened One' north of the village.) He will tell you about some haunted ruins south of the village. Explore the ruins, kill the undead, loot any chests. Tharbakin Crossroads Inn ------------------------ * Work Withheld * Talk to: Stork He wants to know why work has stopped at the Excavations (to the east.) Go there and find a worker called Armin, Talk to him and then report back. * Shadows Over The Family/Disposable Tools * These are two quests best done together. Talk to: Keshi Lono/Set Kistor (Excavations) You need to find some bandits who have a dwarven artifact and retrieve it. Go to their hideout and talk to the leader Finch. Be diplomatic and he will hand over the relic and some information about a mercenary that the Giriza 'family' are looking for. Report back to the two quest givers. Doing these quests will give you enough reputation points with the Giriza family to allow you to enter Gorellin. * Following The Shadow * Talk to: Keshi Lono Finch gives you the location of Scar at Four Stones Village (north of Cathalon) Talk to him but resist the temptation to kill him as you will do that in a later quest. Tharbakin --------- * Alcohol Shortage * Talk to: Brog Ardna He needs some booze to keep his troops happy. The bottles you bought earlier will prove useful here. * Missing Son * Talk to: Ged Sammra He needs you to check on his missin son who was working in a mine. Hagrast has information but he is hard to find (see the gamepressure guide for a map of his location.) Once you have talked to Hagrast come back to Ged. He says he is going to kill Ebrat Skelden and you are supposed to warn him. But the mission just completes shortly afterwards (a bug?) * Missing Staff * Talk to: Rama Erendar The stolen staff is in a grom camp to the west of Covengar. While there grab the totem as well. It will come in useful for a later quest. * Dragon Scale * Talk to: Daron Moreli (need 2 reputation with the society) The scale you found earlier will help you complete this quest. * Association HQ * Talk to: Pol Getber He wants you to visit the HQ. Not hard as it is just behind him. * Earning Trust * Talk to: Ion Furvo (need 1 reputation with the guild) The first of several delivery quests. This one is for Samon Veller in Cathalon. * Secret Passage * Talk to: Eras Brakalet (outside the city to the south) Take the key and open the passage door inside the city (in the SE) when you emerge talk to him again. Most cities have some form of secret passage entry as well as through the main gates. Karga Camp ---------- Make sure you have done the Lone Woodsmen Shack quest to gain reputation with the Karga Clan first. Otherwise you won't be able to enter the camp. Also doing some of the Karga Clan quests will prevent your completing some of the Skelden quests (and vice versa.) It is your choice which faction you support. * Collecting Evidence * Talk to: Ethan You need to collect some documents from Zed Masara in Gorellin. You need 2 reputation points with the Giriza to enter. If you complete this quest, you can't do * Traitor In The House * from the Excavations. * Isa * Talk to: Barra Gall No need to kill Isa. If you go around to the east of the camp you will find his body in a cave. See the gamepressure guide for a map. * Sources Drying Up * Talk to: Antrai Give him a couple of health potions. * Karga * Talk to: Cahal Karga (in the upper part of the camp) By now your reputation should be high enough so that Cahal will let you see his father Ultar. * Final Strike * Talk to: Ultar Karga You need to find proof that House Skelden is going against the King. You will find a 'counterfeit' on the floor of Sano Moon's house at the Excavations. Bring it back to Ultar to complete the quest and gain access to the Relic Frame (a vital item for the Main Quest.) You need to have some reputation points with Skelden to get into Sano Moon's house. If you complete this quest, then you can't do any more of the Skelden quests. * Eye For An Eye * Talk to: Cahal Karga He wants you to kill Ebrat Skelden. To gain access to Ebrat's quarters you need reputation points with House Skelden. Ebrat will have a quest of his own to give you. Your choice as to which faction you support. Before you take out Ebrat check the local prison. You can free a girl by picking up the key from the floor. If you do all the Skelden clan will attack you. Lone Woodsmen Shack ------------------- * Friend's Favour * Talk to: Conn Krannach He wants you to collect a dwarven artifact. Check the map at gamepressure for location of the shack and the dungeon. If you are prepared to be two-faced you can kill him after you return the artifact to complete the * Dangerous Rebel * quest. Excavations ----------- You will need to do some delicate balancing if you want to complete all the quests here as well as those for the Karga Clan (SAVE OFTEN in case of mistakes!) * Safe Neighbourhood * Talk to: Harban He wants you to get rid of some wolves. Go to the den marked on your map to take care of them. * A Delicate Issue * Talk to: Sano Moon He asks you to retrieve a package for him from Gorelin (you need 2 rep with the Giriza to get in.) Talk to Estar Gren who will locate a Karga warehouse on the map. If you have enough rep with the Karga clan the guard will let you in and you can pickup the cure for Sano. If not just take out the guard. * Disposable Tools * Do this at the same time as * Shadow In The Family * Talk to: Set Kistor You have to find a group of bandits. Talk to their leader (Finch) and he will give you the artefact required and information about a mercenary wanted by the Giriza. * A Traitor In The House * Do this at the same time as * Collecting Evidence * Talk to: Brokk Find Zed Masara in Gorelin. Take the documents for * Collecting Evidence * then off him for * A Traitor In The House * * Ruining The Groms' War * Talk to: Meno Hagarard (camp to the north of the Excavations) You need to collect 3 grom totems (you should have one already.) There is a helpful map at gamepressure.com * Playing With Hope * Talk to: Maxia Calvo See * Eye For An Eye * * Prove Your Loyalty * Talk to: Ebrat Skelden You need a 5 rep with the Skelden clan to get this quest. You need to decide whether to do this quest or kill him for the Karga clan. All you need to do is to go to Covengor and talk to Calvo. Completing this quest either way gets you the Relic Frame for the main quest. Forgotten Village ----------------- * Web Of Fear * This is a weird quest. Check the map at gamepressure.com for the location. Speak to the mayor. If you don't visit the rune stones nearby nothing happens. If you do the village gets destroyed by giants. Four Stones Village ------------------- * Healer's Meeting * Talk to: Mostrol Mirra You need to find 3 other mages for a meeting. 1 is in Windbreak, the other 2 are in the seaside town of Clovelly. If you go back to Mostrol you will find it was all a trap. You can decide which of the remaining 2 mages to help. * Black Shadow * Talk to: Juna Evrist (you need a good reputation with the society to get this quest) He asks you to go to the nearby black tower amd kill the necromancers there. There are a lot of pretty tough enemies at the tower so you may need to level up before you can take them on. * I Am The Real One * Talk to: Annon Moha An irritating quest with a lot of 'back and forth.' It involves a cloned mage and a student called Esperon Hiatos. Talk to Esperon and then visit the arch mage in Cathalon, Then come back and lie to Esperon who gives you a magic mirror. You can give it to the arch mage or one of the two clones. * Charity * Talk to: Laza Larat (just outside the village) If you give her some money, she will give you herbs on your next visit. Windbreak Village ----------------- * Caravan * Talk to: Ran Hograd Go find the caravan on the main road to Cathalon. Report back * Orc Encampment * Talk to: Hograd Go North to find the camp and kill all the orcs. White Head isn't there so report back again. * White Head * Talk to: Hograd White Head is in a hidden entrance to the Kings' Tomb East of Windbreak in the Barrows. He asks you to take message back to Hograd. Once you have done this he will allow you to go to the King's Burial Place. There you will find the Earth Stone plus the Crown for the quest below. * Ogre In The Windmill * Talk to: The Mayor Find the windmill on your map and kill the ogre (they can be pretty tough!) * Taint In The Graveyard * Talk to: The Mayor Clear the graveyard and take the taint for the continuing * Bring Me Taint * quest. * Satrius' Crown * Talk to: The Mayor You get a key to the king's tomb. Do this at the same time as the White Head quest to pick up the crown. * Woodcutters' Camp * Talk to: Sigyor Kill all the bandits in the camp to the east of the village. * Insects/Insect Egg * Talk to: Sigyor/Oldrin Go to the east of the village (near the abondoned teleport) and kill the giant insects (be careful they can kill you easily) and collect the large egg you find there. Return to the two quest givers for your reward. Clovelly -------- Time for a trip to the seaside! Don't forget your bucket and spade. * A Problem With The Scapulari * Talk to: Verno (middle of the village.) Lots of 'back and forth' here. Verno -> Hesmar Bratyar -> Broven + his neighbour -> Hesmar -> Broven -> Hesmar -> Amerleen -> Broven. Finally Broven again. * Fisherman's Problem * Talk to: Etar Asks you to get rid of some pirates. Go to the north and talk to Virgul who needs his compass back. Go to the nearby Stico cave (east) and talk to Greston and agree to talk to his mum. Go to Clovelly and do so, then return to the cave get the compass and return it to Virgul. Tell Etar. * Rivals In Love * Talk to: Aias Moratos More back and forth. Theron Hloos is in the centre of the village, then talk to Jemma Moratos, then back to Theron, then Tomal Aikos, then find his friend to the east of the village. Fight him and recover the ring for Theron. Then talk to Jemma and Maya (inside the house.) Find Solan Murban to perform the wedding - the end (or you can give the ring to Aias for a non-happy ending.) Cathalon -------- Lots of people to find here, so if you get lost consult the helpful map at gamepressure.com * Public Enemy * Talk to: Sygius Destrus (and his assistant if you want a really long, boring chat about orc religion.) He wants you to eliminate a necromancer called 'The Flame' in 'The Enclave' far to the south. You won't be able to complete this quest for some time so just put it on the back burner. * An Agreement * Talk to: Samon Veller of the Merchant Association Another exciting postal delivery quest. This time the package is for Garrid Swan in Qudinarr * Orc Catapaults * Talk to: Raul Dan You need to recover 3 triggers from Hadeborg Castle (to the south across the river.) They are way back at the end of the ruins of the castle (next to the teleport) and there are some REALLY tough enemies down there. NOTE! Just outside Cathalon you will find a merchant who is willing to buy anything 'interesting' you may find (like the triggers.) If you want to be clever, sell him the triggers, then kill him to get them back and give them to Raul Dan. Also do the * Deserter * quest from the Eastern Army Camp at the same time. Once you start doing quests past Cathalon you can wear the Orc Camouflage Armour to avoid lots of battles with hordes of orcs. Or you can just slaughter them and level up and get lots of loot. Your choice. * Arrow Maker * Talk to: Mellor 10 dodo feathers required, which means you have to find and kill 10 dodos. Best of luck! * Arrows For Rigwell * Talk to: Mellor Once the arrows have been made, you need to take then to Rigwell in the Eastern Army Camp. * Orc Camouflage Armour * Talk to: Creo You need to get an armor order from Othis (nearby) and pay Creo quite a bit of gold. The armour is one use only, so you may want to save it for when you reach the orc stronghold of Gor Gammar. * The Artist * Talk to: The Artist He needs 4 blue saffwon flowers. They grow plentifully awound the town. * Against Astrology * Talk to: Garondel He gives you a spell to use in the house of Fariel. Once the spider has been released and defeated go back for your reward. * True Astrology * Talk to: Fariel He needs a diamond to repair his telescope. If you have one in your inventory already then just hand it over. Otherwise you can find one in the town dungeon along with a load of skeletons. * The Heritage * Talk to: River Dras NOTE! Quite a complicated quest and one that seems to be 'bugged' Several people (including myself) have found that even after completing everything the quest stays open on your log. Two brothers are squabbling over the family inheritance. Talk to Morio Dras to learn about his wife troubles and to get a flower to give to her. Also talk to Thuya who wants you to buy a love potion for the wife. The trader is marked on the map so go buy the potion. Give it to Thuya. Talk to the brothers again and advise River to do some eavesdropping. Talk to Morio again who should be happy to have his wife back and finally offer to reunite the two brothers to complete the quest (hopefully) and claim your reward. Then you can start to improve the skill using the points you gain when your character levels up. Many of the questions posted on the Two Worlds board at Gamefaqs are about the locations of the trainers or where the trainer for a specific skill can be found. This short guide attempts to list the trainers and the skills they teach. It is probably incomplete, so if anyone knows of a trainer not listed here, please contact me at inobleuk@yahoo.com Most of the information in this guide has been collected from various sources on the internet. Link to map of trainer locations http://wgrajfoto.pl/pokaz/img0607/antaloorhdtaa7c.jpg You can recognize a trainer by the orange, square icon that appears when you approach them. They will be dressed and equipped for combat. The amount of money they charge will increase as your character levels up. Magic trainers have a brown/green hooded robe and they will carry a weapon on their backs. Necromancy trainers will have a loose black robe embroidered with a taint symbol. General information on the location of trainers ----------------------------------------------- Koromin: There is a Ranger trainer by Vesit's coral south of Koromin. Follow the road northeast of there and you'll find a Night Walker trainer where the road bends left. Cathalon:There are six trainers roaming the streets of Cathalon. Four of them (a Sergeant, a Captain, a Swashbuckler, and an Archer) can be found in the southwest area of town. A ranger waits a little east of there, and a Mage can be found not far from the central fountain. Qudinar: This is another place full of trainers. There are seven total. You can find a mage in the center-east part of town, and a Sergeant, Captain, and Archer in the southeast. In the southwest part of town you can find a Night Walker and a Mercenary. Outside of the city walls near the graveyard, you can find a Necromancer Trainer, but you'll need to have an established reputation with them to learn their arts. Brotherhood Camp, Northern Border/Outpost: In the camp to north you can find a Sergeant and a Captain to train you. Eastern Camp/Outpost: In the military camp just east of Qudinar and West of Cathalon you will find a Sergeant, a Captain, and an Archer Western Camp/Outpost: A Sergeant and a Night Walker can be found by the inn. Enclave: You can find two Necromancy trainers at the Enclave, south of Hadeborg Castle, and North of Gor Gammar. If you feel you have made a mistake in allocating the skill points you gain when you level up, then all is not lost. You can find helpful souls in most of the towns and cities who will 'regress' your character for a 'small' fee. This removes all the skill points and allows you to redistribute them. Some skills are more useful than others, and some skills are really not worth bothering with. Go here for more information http://twoworldsvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=16 *** Items & Equipment *** There are many, many items to find in the game. Sets of armor, robes, weapons, shields, rings etc. etc. Rather than attempt to list them all, please checkout the item database at: http://www.insidetwoworlds.com/ A 'unique' feature of Two Worlds is the ability to 'stack' identical weapons and other items to make them more powerful. If you find that you are running out of inventory space, use the chests that you find in the game to store surplus items. A good location is the 'temple' where you start the game. There is a convenient teleport nearby. Also you can use your horse as storage. *** Magic & Spells *** There are different 'schools' of magic - Air Magic, Earth Magic, Fire Magic, Necromancy, Water Magic plus 'boosters' which increase the power of spells or reduce the amount of mana required to cast the spell. Each school has several different spells which you can buy or find as loot. As with items you can stack spells to increase their power. There is a good list of spells here: http://www.insidetwoworlds.com/ *** Alchemy *** You can find an introduction to alchemy here http://twoworldsvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=1 An in-depth guide is here http://twoworldsvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=2 Plus a database of ingredients here http://twoworldsvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ingredients.List This is an extensive list of alchemy recipes compiled by and posted on the Two Worlds message board. All credit to him! FOREWARD Hopefully this will get stickied because I have painstakingly comprised this list over the past few hours and I wanted to create this for the people that are having a problem understanding the alchemy system and just want to know how to make things without having to think. Now on with the guide I was also wondering if someone would like to use the same ingredients to see if they come up with the same things I did so that way we could start a set alchemy creation guide. My alchemy was between 5-10 when I did this, and here is what I managed to create so far. You will notice I put A, B, and C next to a lot of these, all that means is that's how many different ways I found to create that specific item. Feel free to add you're own. Any ingredient that has a permanent effect on it, just combine it with a mana or health potion and then drink the potion. There are some guidelines that need to be followed: 1) Only mix an item or multiple items with permanent a effect or an item or multiple items that have multiple permanent effects on them together Such as a Diamond, Dragon Scale, and a Ruby 2) Do not mix a timed effect with a permanent effect or you will lose the permanent effect quality aspect. Such as a Dragon Scale, Diamond, ruby and Wolf Heart 3) A potion will be guaranteed if you mix the ingredient or ingredients with a health or mana potion. 4) To make a higher permanent effects just mix more of the same one together 5) You cannot create multiple potions then try to mix the 3 potions you created together ________________ TRAPS ADVANCED HOLDING TRAP: 1x Pyrite + 1x Wolf Heart ---------------------- BLADES TRAP: A) 1x Foodball + 1x Calcite B) 1x Mica + 1x Reaper Muscle ---------------------- HAMMER TRAP: A) 1x Pyrite + 1x Zombie Thyroid B) 1x Calcite + 1x Desert Rose ---------------------- POISON TRAP: A) 2x Pyrite B) 1x Emerald + 1x Calcite C) 1x Mica + 1x Pyrite ---------------------- POISION BLADES TRAP A) 5x Pyrite B) 1x Salt + 1x Topaz + 1x Amethyst + 1x Pyrite + 1x Calcite ---------------------- RIPPER TRAP: A) 3x Pyrite B) 1x Calcite + 4 Mica C) 1x Emerald + 1x Amethyst D) 1x Mica + 1x Pearl ---------------------- SHARP ICICLES TRAP A) 9x Pyrite B) 6x Pyrite + 4x Emerald C) 1x Pyrite + 1x Emerald + 1x Amethyst + 1x Sapphire + 1x Ruby ---------------------- HOT IRONS TRAP 7x Pyrite ________________ BOMBS ICE BOMB 1x Pyrite + 1 Hemlock ---------------------- POISON BOMB 1x Pyrite + 1x Flagelle ---------------------- FIRE BOMB 1x Pyrite + 1x Skeleton Bone Marrow ---------------------- BLADES BOMB 2x Pyrite + 2x Hemlock ---------------------- HEAVY BOMB 3x Sapphire + 2x Topaz + 1x Screama Badilla ---------------------- UNLEASH HELL BOMB 4x Sapphire + 2x Topaz + 1x Screama Badilla ________________ WEAPON ENHANCERS POISON ADD 10% POISON DAMAGE A) 1x Opal + 1x Topaz B) 1x Opal + 1x Garnet C) 1x Opal + 1x Fox Liver ---------------------- ADD 20% POISON DAMAGE A) 2X Salt B) 2x Opal C) 1x Salt + 1x Reaper Muscle D) 1x Opal + 1x Salt ---------------------- ADD 50% POISON DAMAGE A) 1x Sulfur + 1x Mica + 1x Silver + 1x Winged Demon Eye + 1x Earth Elemental Crystal B) 1x Pyrite + 1x Opal + 1x Azurite + 1x Haematite + 1x Magnesite ============ FIRE ADD 10% FIRE DAMAGE A) 1x Sulfur + 1x Winged Demon Eye B) 1x Sulfur + 1x Red Toadstool C) 1x Azurite + 1x Ruby ---------------------- ADD 20% FIRE DAMAGE A) 2x Sulfur B) 1x Sulfur + 1x Mica ---------------------- ADD 50% FIRE DAMAGE A) 1x Pyrite + 1x Amber + 1x Calcite + 1x Diamond + 1x Ruby B) 1x Pyrite + 1x Salt + 1x Sulfur + 1x Quartz Crystal + 1x Garnet ============ LIGHTNING ADD 10% LIGHTNING DAMAGE A) 1x Garnet + 1x Foxglove B) 1x Garnet + 1x Fox Liver ---------------------- ADD 20% LIGHTNING DAMAGE A) 1x Quartz Crystal + 1x Winged Demon Eye B) 2x Garnet ---------------------- ADD 50% LIGHTNING DAMAGE 1x Quartz Crystal + 1x Sulfur + 1x Mica + 1x Silver ============ COLD ADD 10% COLD DAMAGE A) 1x Azurite + 1x Fox Liver B) 1X Azurite + 1x Bear Claw ---------------------- ADD 20% COLD DAMAGE A) 1x Mica + 1x Silver B) 2x Silver C) 2x Azurite ---------------------- ADD 50% COLD DAMAGE 1x Mica + 1x Silver + 1x Screama Badilla ________________________________________________ *** Cheats *** Unlike most other Xbox 360 games, it is possible to enter cheat codes in Two Worlds. Instructions and a partial list of codes can be found here http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/code/932336.html What follows is an extensive list of create codes compiled by and and posted on the Gamefaqs message board for Two Worlds. All credit to them! The following are things that jerryp91 and I have found through some experimenting and trial and error. Some of these things we came up with on our own, while some information is from posts on the insidetwoworlds.com forums. These are console commands so they are accessed by pressing RB+LB+A at the same time. Pressing X will bring up your dashboard keyboard. Pressing A after entering the code enables the code. To use the create command you must first enable cheat mode by entering the code: TwoWorldsCheats 1 Be warned that entering cheat mode disables the ability to earn achievements on THAT save. Other saves you may have that you have not used any cheat codes on can still earn achievements Tip: Entering in codes can be a slow and painful process and while creating items or other things you can get tired of re-typing the same thing over and over since you can only create 1 item at a time. If you press up on the right stick you will be able to access commands you have already used this session. So...find the item you want, press up on the right stick to the command you have typed in once before and it will fill in for you. With this method you can as quickly as possible create multiples of the same item. When you enter console mode, a large pointing finger comes up on screen...this is where the item you create will appear, so make sure it is pointing at the ground. An easy way to do this is to go into first person mode (Clicking the right stick) before entering the console Here we go. For the following examples you will need to find the item code from the database of items on insidetwoworlds.com Creating Items: Axes Create Wp_Axe_0-8(00,00,00) (00 = item level ,00, = addons (spells .e.c.t) 00) = item code 0 = small hatchet 1 = small axe 2 = two hand hatchet 3 = axe * 4 = taber 5 = ornamented 6 = 2 hand axe 7 = 2hand ornamented 8 = 2hand taber Maces and Clubs Create Wp_Mace_0-8(00,00,00) (00 = item level ,00, = addons (spells .e.c.t) 00) = item code 0 club 1 war club 2 heavy club |
